Elderly weavers who spent their lifetime in traditional handloom weaving receive a monthly pension of ₹1,000 under the Handloom Weavers Pension Scheme.
Eligibility criteria:
- Must have worked as a weaver and held membership in a primary Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society.
- Completed 60 years of age.
- Not receiving any other government social security pension.
Required documents:
- Weavers Cooperative Society membership card.
- Proof of age (Aadhaar card / Voter ID).
- Smart Family Ration card and bank passbook.
How to apply:
- Submit your application through your Primary Weavers Cooperative Society to the Assistant Director of Handlooms and Textiles.
