Construction workers, masons, carpenters, painters, plumbers, and electricians can enroll in the Tamil Nadu Construction Workers Welfare Board to access pension, maternity assistance, accident insurance, and education grants.
Start online (fastest):
- Visit the Tamil Nadu Unorganised Workers Welfare Board portal (tnuwwb.tn.gov.in).
- Click on 'New Member Registration' and verify with Aadhaar OTP.
- Enter worker details, specific trade category, family nominee details, and bank account info.
Required documents:
- Age between 18 and 60 years.
- Certificate proving 90 days of work in construction trade (signed by registered employer, engineer, or registered trade union).
- Applicant's Aadhaar card and Family Smart Ration card.
- Bank passbook front page showing IFSC code and active account status.
- Passport-size photograph.
If you cannot apply online:
- Submit physical application at the District Labour Welfare Office (Social Security Schemes) or any e-Sevai center.
