The Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS) provides cashless medical and surgical treatment up to ₹5,00,000 per family per year across 1,000+ empanelled government and private hospitals.
Eligibility criteria:
- Families with annual household income below ₹1,20,000.
- Registered residents of Tamil Nadu with a valid Smart Family Ration card.
How to enroll:
- Visit the CMCHIS enrollment kiosk located at your District Collectorate or Government District Headquarters Hospital.
- Provide biometric fingerprint and photograph to receive your instant smart card.

- Original and copy of Smart Family Ration Card.
- Aadhaar cards of all enrolled family members.
