The government distributes free motorized sewing machines and brass iron boxes to low-income BC, MBC, and DNC artisans to support dignified self-employment.
Eligibility criteria:
- Belongs to BC, MBC, or DNC communities.
- Annual family income must not exceed ₹72,000.
- Age between 20 and 45 years.
- For Sewing Machine: Must hold a certificate showing at least 6 months of tailoring training from a recognized institution.
- For Iron Box: Must be traditionally engaged in laundry and ironing services.
How to apply:
- Submit physical application forms along with training certificate, community certificate, income certificate, and Aadhaar card to the District BC/MBC Welfare Officer.
