Start online (fastest):
- Visit eservices.tnpolice.gov.in and select 'Police Verification Service'.
- Choose the purpose: 'Self Verification', 'Job Verification', or 'Tenant Verification'.
- Enter applicant details, upload Aadhaar card, residence proof, and recent photograph.
- Pay the official government verification fee of ₹500 for individuals (₹1,000 for institutions) via netbanking/UPI.
Inquiry and delivery:
- The local police station conducts a background inquiry and issues a digitally signed verification report within 15 working days.
