- Dial 1930 immediately (National Cyber Crime 24/7 Toll-Free Helpline).
- State your bank name, account number, transaction UTR number, date/time, and the suspect's UPI ID or phone number.
- The 1930 cyber cell alerts the payment gateway and destination bank to freeze the stolen transaction in real-time.
Lodge official complaint:
- Visit the national portal (cybercrime.gov.in) within 24 hours to upload transaction screenshots, SMS alerts, and bank statement evidence.
- Contact your bank immediately to block your compromised debit card or internet banking access.
